This service is available to residents of Redding who have a valid library card.

- First time users will need to download and install the OverDrive Media Console software
- Once the software is installed, you can select and download titles to your PC
- Then, optionally transfer a book to a portable MP3 player
- Some books will indicate they can be burned to compact disk as well.
Titles are available from all genres including classics, foreign language study, mysteries, and suspense.
- Some titles will always be available no matter how many people wish to listen
- Others are available on a first come, first served basis
- If a title is already checked out, you may place a hold on it. You'll be notified by email when it becomes available.
The technology is provided by OverDrive, Inc., a leading provider of digital media. The service is provided through Bibliomation,
a Connecticut library automation consortium of which the Mark Twain Library is a member.
