The annual grant received from the Town of Redding
covers many of the costs of the Library's operations, but not all.
To ensure that it can continue to offer high-quality materials and
programming, the Library also asks for financial support directly
from town residents each year. The library's "annual appeal" for
donations is sent to all local families each spring, and we are
proud to say that many respond generously, year after year.
Those who make a gift become both a "friend of
the library" and a member of the Mark Twain Library Association
for the twelve months following the date of their donation.
