If you are signed up to receive email notices,
the Library will send you a "courtesy reminder" at least 24 hours
before library items are due, to make it easier for you to remember
to renew or return those items. A great way to avoid overdue fines!
If you are keeping track of more than one library
account (for instance, your children's accounts), we'd like to recommend
Library ELF, an independently-operated library service which helps
families and individuals to keep track of their library loans and
holds.
Library ELF offers all the date due alert, overdue
alert, and hold notice services that the Mark Twain Library now
offers, but it also allows families to receive notices in one combined
family account.
Since the Library is presently a subscriber to
Library ELF, you may sign up for their premium service at no cost.
You must register for this service on your own.

to sign up for the service.
