The library sponsors a book club that meets
at 7:30 pm on the second Monday of every month. Redding resident
(and Ph.D in English literature) Catherine Riordan is the discussion
leader. Information on the current discussion schedule is available
here; copies of the selected books are available at the library
approximately three weeks before the discussion dates.
The library is also happy
to assist local book groups in borrowing books for their discussions;
please contact
for help.
The library maintains a collection
of books that have been chosen and enjoyed by local book groups.
They are identified in the catalog by the words (book club) at the
end of the call number. The book club collection is located at the
beginning of the adult fiction collection.
